So on my journey to getting healthy (especially around my midsection) I have stumbled upon two great ways to do so. I discovered that my focus should be on having a primarily alkaline diet( The act of keeping your body away from the acidic side by have plenty of fruit and vegetables.) along with eating only a certain number of hours during the day. (Also known as Intermittent fasting) The idea behind this is by limiting the times of eating, it will allow my body to do the work and as such it will be able to access my fat storage's. So far it has not been able to do so since I have fueled my body to much and as such it can only access the food I have eaten as energy instead of utilizing my fat. As anyone who has had trouble losing weight can attest, getting the weight off for good can be quite a challenge, and I learned that this challenge is a real thing. If left unchecked these cycles of eating salty, sweet, tired, salty, sweet, tired....and so forth can easily lead the body to major sickness specifically type 2 diabetes. When I learned this it has all started to fall into focus for me. No amount of exercising has helped me curb my weight and despite my best efforts to eat less my body has tricked me into eating more frequently so that it never has to burn weight....Learning this has meant game on! I have started to implement eating for 8 hours a day and not eating for 16. This has been far easier than I expected because prior to this I never really wanted to eat breakfast anyhow but I forced myself. Now I don't have to. Eating more vegetables and limiting the time I eat is ideal especially considering I sometimes wished I did not have to eat everyday in order to be healthy. After all with most addictions you can remove the substance entirely, with food not so much. What I have learned is that I can't control the fact that I must eat everyday, but I can control the times and I can put as many good things into my body so that their is hardly any room for the bad stuff. So far I have lost 5 pounds since starting this three days ago. It is simple and I so look forward to the upcoming weeks. I have more then enough energy and I am excited that I am finally allowing my body to access my fat stores. Now I understand what all the hype is about.
